Why can't I print a Word or Excel document from my iPad that was sent to me as an attachment to an email?

I'm not sure. Do you have an AirPrint compatible printer?
No I don't. I can print everything else from my iPad...just not Word or Excel docs.
Please describe the steps you are following when you try to print. Where does the process fail? Are you opening the documents in an app that supports Word and Excel files?
If you don't have an AirPrint compatible printer are you using some kind of third party software, such as Printopia or Print N Share to print?
