When playing music from an iphone 6 plus iOS 8.3 using bluetooth audio in 2015 BMW 320d F30, there seems to be an intermittent static noise coming from the speakers. Is the issue from the iPhone or from the car itself?
I've also tried using Samsung A7 and so far for 20 mins there seems to be no static noise issue.

I just started having this issue as well several weeks ago... iphone 6 with iOS 8.3, but with a different car and head unit. Thought it was the head unit, so I did a firmware update but that didn't resolve it. Starting to think it might be the iPhone. Did the 8.3 update break something?
I'm having this issue as well, 2015 428i Gran Coupe here. I was thinking it was the tweeters up front, but maybe it's from the phone. I'll have to check again with just the radio stations and see if it's still there.
I decided to do a complete restore of my iPhone 6 through iTunes on my iMac and that has resolved the issue for me.
i may try that. Do you have any static with a Lightning cable plugged into the USB port? I get it there too.
