Q: Cannot migrate from iPhoto: Photos can't repair permissions

I had 3 different iPhoto libraries. For two of them the migration has gone well and now I'm able to use Photos with that libraries.

The third library, instead, can't be opened from Photos: it says that it cannot repair permissions.

I also tried to repair library permissions from iPhoto (cmd+opt+click) before upgrading it to Photos but it didn't work as well.

What can I do? I'm not able to use this library with Photos at all.

MacBook Air (13-inch Mid 2013), OS X Mavericks (10.9)

where is this library stored? If on and external drive what format is it and is ignore ownership checked?

Hi LaryyHN,
the library is stored on an SD card (formatted as HFS+, journaled I think but I'm not sure), but so are the other libraries which upgrades have gone well. They all are stored in the same exact folder inside the SD card.

I'll try checking "Ignore ownership" and see what happen.

"Ignore Ownership" is already checked. The SD card is HFS+ journaled case-sensitive. Maybe should I try to re-format it to case-insensitive?
