I'm looking to purchase an Ipad or Ipad mini to use alongside my apple tv.
I was just wondering if there is any specific models that don't have the air play function or is air play accessible on all?

The iPad Air and Air 2 are compatible with AirPlay. Same with all three iPad minis.

The first and second generations aren't compatible and I'm not sure about 3rd and 4th (sorry).
