How To Install SELPHY CP 510 on OS X 10.10

Hey, I got a Canon SELPHY CP 510 but it cannot works with my Macbook that runs OS X 10.10. Canon said they stop providing driver for the printers that for them are no longer used now. SO, they just stop updating the driver. Could someone help me, if there any tricks that I can do to install the driver? Thanks

. Yes, you're correct, the last Mac OS that this supported was Leopard (10.5). It should, however, work on Yosemite. I think you need the driver cd. put it in the drive, double click on the Canon CP printer installer, click on easy install, then Next, then install the CP printer driver. restart mac as needed. turn the printer on, connect the usb cable. go to system preferences, then print and scanner. click on add printer. make sure the printer is connected and turned on. you should be able to choose the driver, or have it find a driver for you. other than that, Gutenprint? According to Canon, the driver may be built in, or you may be out of luck
