May 12, 2015 10:40 AM in response to giantfrankby pedro d,Hello there, giantfrank.
When having issues updating iTunes for Windows on your computer, the following Knowledge Base article offers up some great recommendations for troubleshooting:
If you can't install or update iTunes for Windows - Apple Support
If you find your issue persists, after reviewing those steps, then you may want to try uninstalling iTunes using the following article:
Media you've bought from the iTunes Store or songs you've imported from CDs are saved in your My Music folder by default. They won't be deleted by removing iTunes. Although it's highly unlikely that you'll lose any of your iTunes Library when following the steps below, first make sure that your iTunes library is backed up. See iTunes: Back up your iTunes library by copying to an external hard drive for more information.
Thanks for being a part of Apple Support Communities.
Kind Regards,
Pedro.

If that doesn't work go for the more detailed process shown in Remove and reinstall iTunes and related software components for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8 - Apple Support or see the user tip Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
