Q: how do i deauthorize a computer that is not functional?

My old laptop no longer starts up and I'd like to reauthorize it.  How do I do that?

    Use the Deauthorize All command documented in this article, or if it isn't an option, the 'contact iTunes Store support' link at the bottom of it.

    Hello,

     

    when you open iTunes a menu bar should appear below the play button. Click on store -> Deauthorize this computer

    If the menu bar does not show up, click on the symbol at the top left of iTunes. Click show menu bar. Altermately, if you are using a windows pc, you can press cntrl + b while in ITunes to enable the menu

    aznkillermage the poster says his computer will not start thus he can't deauthorize only that computer
