How do I send music to someone else

Where did the problem occur? Did your daughter receive the files? Did she put them on her own hard drive?

Windows XP

You can simply drag songs from iTunes to the desktop (or a folder on the desktop).

Your songs are in My Documents -> My Music -> iTunes -> iTunes music.
They are folder by Artist -> Album folders.
You can copy out of this folder but do not add/delete/move or rename anything in here or else iTunes will lose it.

To find where a song is stored, you can either right-click on the track in iTunes and select "Show Song File," or right-click and then "Get Info" and look on the "Summary" tab after the word "Where."

Windows XP

You could ZIP them and email them.

Use AOL instant messenger and send the folder (directory) that the CD was ripped to.

Windows XP

Email would be better than AOL IM IMHO. I can't stand IM is why though. 🙂
