I just received my 42mm black sport band today in the mail and the strap with the pin is extremely loose where it is connected to the watch. The other strap with the holes is also a little bit loose as well. Does anyone know why this is, if it's just a faulty band, or is anyone else having the same experience?

Mine are not "loose", do they appear loose enough to pull out of the watch, try sliding them out by pressing the wee button underneath and slot them back in to see if they bed in better.

They should be a very snug fit no movement without pressing the release button.
If it fits loose, you may have it installed upside down. Try flipping the band over. That worked for me. The side with the metal oblong tabs need to lock into place. Hopefully, it is that simple. Good luck.
Mine seems to be as well. Not sure if it has always been this way but I didn't notice it until recently. I've had my watch for a few weeks now.
I had it installed the right way. I ended up returning it and getting a replacement band, but this one is also a little loose. Not sure what the problem is exactly. My other band though that originally came with the watch fits fine (Classic Buckle).
i am also facing this issue. the movements are getting worse with time.. the extra band which is provided with watch is very tight with no movement ( may be i have not used that band) but the bands which am using are getting very loose.
