Previewing Reflowable file - problems with orientation

Hi

I imported an ePub from InDesign into iBooks author. The ePub is a text only file (no images), with preset chapters and table of contents

When I previewed the file via IBA, ai noticed that there were two deviations in the Portrait orientation which did not exist in the Landscape

1. The chapter heading att he top was missing

2. The text is no longer centered

any advice owould be highly appreciated

IBA treats landscape and portrait differently. If an iBook is developed in a template that is both landscape and portrait, you will get the results you saw. The left-hand side is used to display widgets, so there will always be a blank area in portrait mode. However, this is not the case for iBooks developed with a portrait only template. Those behave in a similar way as landscape templates.
