Q: how do I sync my bookmarks from my computer to my ipad with icloud

I have my contacts set up with icloud but my bookmarks do not sync when add a new one on my computer. What do I have to do to get all my bookmarks that are on my computer to my ipad by using icloud rather than manually synching my ipad to computer.
