Q: can't update to Thunderbolt 1.2
Firstly, I have to say that I tried many solutions from community support threads. Nothing worked for me. I have an old macbook pro from 2011. My thunderbolt input doesn't recognize any signal from additional display screen. I've tried it with various displays. On appstore I've got notification about remaining thunderbolt update. When I download the update, it asks me to reboot my mac, after that, appears an appstrore logo with a progress bar, then it reboots another time. Gray screen with an apple logo appears with an progress bar and after 2 seconds it crashes, mac is rebooting, the thunderbolt update notification doesn't disappear, the thunderbolt drivers version is 22.1 which is nothing but bad.
To resolve that I've tried:
-restart mac in a safemode to clear cache
-reinstalling the os
I'm fighting with it for about a week and it pulls me from my work
MacBook Pro, OS X Yosemite (10.10.3)
