The camera button on my iPad mini moved to the right side, how do I move it back to the bottom? On my iPhone the button is still on the bottom. I have the latest iOS software. If anyone knows how to move I'd appreciate the help.

You have the latest software and that is why the button is where it is now. You cannot move it. The iPhone layout is not the same as the iPad layout.
Care for a work around ? Put your iPad in landscape mode. Turn on lock-rotation. Turn your iPad back to portrait mode. I'm fairly sure the button moved in the IOS 7 update. At least now you can change from video to photo by tapping the words instead of swiping the screen.

It may not be any easier, but you can also use the volume up button to take a picture.
