Q: How can i get my pop mail account working again?

Hi. In the past couple of days my pop mail account stopped working. The smtp outgoing works fine. It just won't receive incoming emails. I removed the account and reinstalled it but it's still not working. I have made sure the the correct port (110) is typed in for pop and i have unchecked the "Automatically detect and maintain account settings"  I also have made sure that authentication: password is on too. I really am starting to pull my hair out here. Solution desperately needed. ASAP.

 

Ok i am not completely mac literate so please make it simple for me. Thanks.
