kernel panic only when i move the mouse down

mid 2010 MBP 8GB memory i7

I have read a few suggestions to fix this would be to go into Energy Saving and turn off the automatic switch between the graphics card, however this has not helped. I am clearly past the recall notice, sadly this wasnt an issue until recently. For some reason it seems to crash whenever im moving the mouse in a downward position... not sure if thats just coincidence or part of the problem. Also something to note is apple ran all their test and didnt find an issue, even though i was able to show them it crashing 2 times while i was there, Also one last note, i can have the computer on for days and it wont crash but the second i move the mouse downward it crashes.

IF anyone has any solutions or suggestion that would be amazing!! this is the most recent kernel crash. ill attach an older one below this

You have the MacBookPro6,2—the Edsel of Macs. It may have the logic-board defect that was covered by a recall program that has now ended.

Residents of the EU may be entitled to warranty service for up to six years after purchase.

Make a "Genius" appointment at an Apple Store, or go to another authorized service provider, to have the machine tested. The routine hardware diagnostics used by service providers do not detect the fault. There is a specific test for this issue that Apple calls "VST" (for "Video Switching Test.") Ask for it. A "Failed" result means that the fault is present.

You may be quoted a price of about $300 (in the U.S.) for a "depot repair," which involves shipping the unit to a central repair facility and takes about two weeks. For that flat fee, anything found wrong with it should be fixed, not just the logic board.

Sometimes the replacement part is also defective, so be prepared for that possibility. If you decide to pay for a new logic board, test thoroughly during the 90-day warranty period on the repair. Some owners have reported that they went through as many as three replacement boards before getting one that worked.

If you don't want to pay for the repair, you may (or may not) be able to work around the problem by disabling automatic graphics switching. To use the discrete graphics processor, you'll need a third-party utility to switch to it manually.

Often the problems start after an OS upgrade. If the upgrade was recent, and you have backups, then you can revert to a previous OS X version.

Thanks, however for the graphic switching should i keep it on the nvidia or the internal graphics card?

Also im not sure if its the logic board, it only started happening recently and it can happen when the computer only has 1 chrome window open.

It is the logic board, but you don't have to take my word for it. Have the machine tested. Switching between graphics processors is what causes the panics.

Ill take your word for it. Just kinda ****** that the recall is over and I am just not getting these kernal panics every 10 minutes or so... I even took it to apple about 1.5 years ago and they did nothing for me, they couldnt "re-create" the problem, even though i showed them it doing the kernal panic in front of there eyes and even gave them the kernal panic log files... I wonder if they'll cover the cost for me.

You may have the logic board replaced at your expense. Or you man download this application:

This will allow you to disengage the discrete GPU and run the MBP using the integrated one. It will be at the expense of graphics performance.
