iphone 5c not pairing with car

bought iphone 5c on 1st May. the old one paired with my Peugot 2 Tronic but was too old, would not transfer contacts etc. 3 phones have easily paired with car. Other phones cannot seem to pair with the phone. I really think there is something wrong with the phone, but was told to go to Peugot next. I am convinced they will not find the phone because it does not show up. How can I get the phone shop to do a test to see if I am right? They will not sit in the car, cannot leave the shop, etc. Can they check in the shop to see if the bluetooth reaches their phones?

The iPhone is not designed to pair with other phones. It is limited to the bluetooth profiles shown in the following link iOS: Supported Bluetooth profiles - Apple Support

Not sure how you might get the "phone shop" to cooperate but if you have an Apple Store in the area you might try that or try yourself to pair to some other bluetooth device such as bluetooth speakers or headphones.

thank you so much for replying. I didnt know that it didnt pair with other phones. Actually I dont really know much about bluetooth. Anyway, I finally found Customer Service at Carphone Warehouse, but it took me ages, as the shop didnt answer, but once at Customer Service they were very helpful. They arranged for me to collect a new one at the nearest shop which I did, and the phone is now paired to the car. I shall now relax!!
