Thanks for sending this link. It helps answer my question. I'm allergic to both the ingredients used. I'll have to be creative in using my new watch. I love it, so I don't want to send it back. I have a sport band ordered, but it apparently has some of the same ingredients.
here is all the info on that, hope it helps - Wearing Apple Watch - Apple Support
I appreciate all the info and help from both replies. Right now I've been taking it off a little earlier than I normally would. I'll try also cleaning it as suggested. I'm very sensitive to nickel, so I had figured out that it probably had that ingredient. I'm also sensitive to adhesive bandages which explains why it's also getting worse each day. Each evening my arm has hives traveling up it, but it's been getting worse and now the hives are beginning earlier in the day and also on the front of my arm. I'm thinking once I get the sport band it won't be quite as bad. Thanks for the information!
The link below has details - apparently, there is some nickel in stainless steel bands.
Hope the information there helps:
Glad it helped. Various rd parties are working on bands and straps, so I expect there will be a range that avoids this problem - it may take a while though
