My computer crashes everytime I try to update Adobe Flash Player 😠

Can anyone from the following tell me what is wrong and eventually what to do?

I get this on Snow Leopard as well. Exact same crash. Mac Mini (2009). I'm guessing that this wasn't tested with Snow Leopard.

The release notes @ https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/release-note/fp_17_air_17_release_notes.htm l do mention security updates are included, and http://www.zdnet.com/article/adobe-releases-massive-patch-update-for-vulnerabili ties-in-flash-reader-acrobat/ seems to imply that the issues patched are serious, so @ this point I guess the above advice of "uninstall if possible" is sagely.
