Can the image of the Credit Card be updated in Apple Pay? Airline Card recently changed due to merger but account is still the same. Can I update the image in Apple Pay with the new image of the card?

Would be nice if there was some user control here. I have two identical cards but one is business account and one is personal. Every transaction, I need to carefully check that I'm using the correct card.
You have no control over the appearance of the card's image in Apple Pay.
The credit card issuer has that control. Perhaps they will update the image. Or perhaps you will get a new credit card (with a new credit card number) and entering that new information will trigger a new image.
But you cannot control the image as if it were a photo that you could change.
Just wanted to confirm that removing and re-adding the card pulls the updated image from the bank.

The image is created by the credit card provider. Delete the account from Apple Pay and set it up again. Whatever they give you is what you get.
