Apple Watch ~ Customers with June Shipments!

My order just hit Preparing for Shipment about 2pm CDT. It still says available to shin in 7-10 days but my understanding is since the status changed, it's due to go any time. 42mm SS Medium BLL ordered on 4/22.

Guys and Gals,

I have finally , after much patience, contacted Apple. Here are some important FACTS I learned.

If you are awaiting a Band only (as I am, the Milanese Loop 42mm, ordered 4/22), these are MADE IN THE USA. I thought China but not so. Therefore, shipping should be faster.

For those, such as I, who see on Status "via Standard Shipping", do not worry -- I was assured that that will be changed to EXPEDITED Shipping and it will in fact be so, as soon as it leaves the factory.

As expected, the first hint for anyone is when the CC gets charged (to Pending charges on Amex, e.g.)THEN the Status will change to Preparing For Shipment.

The term "Available to Ship 5-6 weeks. Deliver 6/22-29" in my case (order date 4/22) means that the 5-6 weeks is figured from the Order Date, and does not change. So mine should be available to ship any day now. That does not mean it WILL ship in day or two. But once it leaves the factory "you will get the order soon after."

When I asked if all this means it should be delivered BEFORE the first of the "Deliver by " dates, namely 6/22, the answer was "We see the orders arrive sooner than expected though."

So, bottom-line, my friends, THERE IS HOPE. Our patience will be rewarded.

I continue to believe, as I first posted several weeks ago, that I and most others will receive delivery (of both Watches and bands alone) prior to the "Deliver by" dates, and in many cases, even before the first inside date in that range provided.

Yeah it does , I heard within two weeks all the May orders excluding the SPSS will be delivered , kind of thought with WWDC there would be some type of breakthrough

My order hasn't moved for a week. 9-11 business days, 16-18 June. 😢

Mine went to PFS last night around 9:30pm and then went to shipped around 3:30am with a tracking number. Hope yours will get to PFS anytime soon 😉

Same here had to go into an Apple Store to tinker with one to take the edge off lol 😁 looking at the different bands ibcould switch up to. This is the longest 9-11 days ever lol

bought mine may 17th, getting it this week so it is possible.

Finally changed to PFS tonight but still say 9-11 days with 2-3 shipping so hopefully it will be here by weeks end, we'll see but still I can't wait

mine is still on Processing Itend and it's ticking me off... hopefully it switches in the next few days

My prayers were answered as my shipping notice came in at 10:30 this morning and it arrived in Shanghai at 10:30 China time. Should be here by the 11th!

Order June 2 (yes, I know, I waited way too long) 42mm Black Band Sport with an estimated delivery of June 24-June 30. However, see others who ordered May 28th, 29th getting bumped up to June 13th time area, I am hopeful it will be here around the same time.
