Q: Printer queue expires in an hour?
I'm having print-jobs expire from my printer-queue in an hour or two (approx).
I'm not sure if they all expire in the same way. One will "die" but if I had printed another file 2 minutes later then that file doesn't necessarily die 2 minutes after the first one. I'm not sure what's happening or when.
I'll print a bunch of files then do other work. I see the icon for the printer on my dock. It says how many jobs are waiting to print. When I connect the laptop to the printer, they then print. No problem.
But if I wait too long I notice that jobs start expiring from the queue!
I'm printing ORDERS and mailing labels. ...So this queue behavior has actually LOST ME SALES!
I need to set the printer queue to NEVER EXPIRE.
I use an HP 2605dn Color Laserjet printer. My laptop is a Mac Powerbook with OS 10.8.
I print all sorts of files and labels -- from eBay, USPS, PayPal, from my desktop files, emails. I'm not sure if any kind of file expires differently. My desire is that NO PRINT JOB EVER EXPIRES!
THANKS for any ideas!!!!
