What about editing photos in 3rd party apps? I have "optimize storage" turned on for my iCloud Photo Library on iPhone and iPad. So hoes does iCloud handle this if I want to open an image at full resolution in a different app? I can't find anything online about this.
Example: I take a picture. It is immediately uploaded to iCloud, and I ASSUME that it is immediately replaced with a lower quality version in this process. Am I wrong?
So now it is a few minutes later and I want to open the photo in Snapseed/Layout/VSCO/Flickr or whatever on my phone. So am I now "playing with" the image I just took at much lower quality?
