Q: Can't connect to internet after installing windows 10 bootcamp?

I just installed Windows 10 through bootcamp. Everything went fine and I am able to boot into windows 10. But, I cannot connect to the internet. Windows cannot even see my network. I don't think internet explorer is installed either cause I don't see it. Can somebody tell wha† to do? Thanks in advance. I have Yosemite.

MacBook Pro, OS X Yosemite (10.10)

this is a new one to me, but I'll go with what MS suggests

1-swipe in from tthe right edge of your screen, type in "search" then identify and repair, then identify and repair network problems

.   You should get a network troubleshooter which might help you out.

2-release and renew your IP address

do the whole swipe in from the right edge of the screen thing again, then type in Command Prompt. At the command prompt, type in ipconfig/release

and press enter, then type in ipconfig/renew, and press enter.

have you tried going to apple.com/support/bootcamp. see if you can configure your Network adapter in Windows 10 to use Shared Networking? maybe set it to Wifi.  maybe you have to install the driver for your Wifi card?? ( just a guess on that one??). apparently, you can go into system preferences(on the Mac side) and turn on Internet sharing there.

sorry I can't help you more-I have no experience in this area whatsoever

Check in Control Panel -> Device Manager for any unknown devices (yellow triangles with exclamation marks). If you see any, your Apple hardware drivers are not properly installed.

Use System requirements to install Windows on your Mac via Boot Camp - Apple Support to download drivers appropriate for you specific Mac year/model and Boot Camp: Install or repair Boot Camp drivers.
