I took my ipad to the "geniuses" and they said it was a problem with my firmware that existed before the update and the update just "brought it out" and that there was nothing they could do about it. I'm pretty mad because I didn't jailbreak my ipad and everything was updated and everything was downloaded from the app store. It was suggested to me that I call tech support for help but if anyone has a fix I can try, that would be great too.

This is Apple's way of disabling your phone so they can force you to buy a new one.
