Unable to change admin password

Was running Airwatch (MDM) and removed today along with profiles created. However I am still unable to change my "Admin Password" on my system, I receive the following error "Your password did not meet the requirements specified by your server administrator. You may need to use different characters, numbers, or symbols in your password. If you’re not sure how you should change your password, contact your system administrator before trying again"

Running Yosemite 10.10.3 on Macbook Air Mid 2013

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Is there an item named "Profiles" in System Preferences?

Yes sir there is and the profile that housed the MDM has been removed.

If this an Active Directory account, you will indeed have to do what the alert says.

Authentication should be local, how do I turn off Active Directory or remove these characteristics?

You can unbind from AD in the Network preference pane, but then you'll lose access to the account and I don't know what else. This is something you should work out with the network administrator.
