Q: I am unable to send email from my iPHone 6Plus from Verizon Fios, all settings appear to be correct

I have been on support with Verizon and they said try Apple.  They made a change recently to Fios email and told all users

to verify their settings.  I have repeatedly checked both incoming and outgoing settings.  Incoming works most of the time though

sometimes I have to power down to get email.  Outgoing doesn't work at all.  It works on the webmail client as well as on my iPad so Verizon

said I had to deal with Apple.  All outgoing emails just sit in the outbox and it says my settings are wrong which I check again and

they are still correct.  Doesn't seem like Apple's problem to me but not sure where else to go.
