What is the difference between find my iphone and find my friends apps?
Each person in the family should be set up with their own Apple ID. What you need to do is set up Family Sharing. When you do that you will be able to see all devices that are in the Family on Find My iPhone. I would assume once he has his own Apple ID you would be able to find him on Find My Friends.
I used to be able to track my sons phones thru Find my Iphone because we were all using the same apple ID but when i created a new one for myself, i can no longer see their devices in Find my Iphone. So instead i used Find Friends App. but my problem is, one of my sons phone only shows as a Follower and at the same time under my old apple ID. How do i fix this?
