See Backup your iTunes for Windows library with SyncToy for a method to backup your library to a portable external drive. You can then inspect the drive on a machine with working AV software to make sure it doesn't contain anything untoward, and use your library there. You should backup your data on a regular basis so that in the event of a drive failure, or indeed catastrophic virus that requires a system rebuild, you don't lose your content.

What symptoms lead you to suspect a virus?

Although it's generally true that Windows malware can't affect an iPhone, there is some malware that will monitor for an iOS device being connected to the computer and then attempt to infect that device. (WireLurker is the most recent I'm aware of, which comes in both a Mac OS X and Windows version.) Although it's unlikely that you'd have this malware, I know very little about what other such malware may exist in the Windows world, so it would be wise to exercise caution, and not connect the iPhone until you can be sure the computer is clean.
