Q: How do you open .dvdproj file without idvd??

I have a DVD with a .dvdproj file on it. I have a macbook with Yosemite and I don't have iDVD, I have no idea how to open this file!! Any information would be great. Thanks!

MacBook Pro (13-inch Mid 2012), OS X Yosemite (10.10.3)

You need iDVD.

FWIW, VLC sometimes can play a video inside the .DVDproj file and also you can inspect what's in the file with a right click and "Show Package Contents."

Doesn't do much for you though for editing it.
