Hi
I was having the same issue for several weeks. I ran every version of iOS from 9.0 to the 9.2 beta. Talking with technical support seemed to be no help. Aside from the fact that they finally mentioned its some kind of software issue.
The solution that someone posted that seems to work is restoring your iphone as new and doing a backup, because its the backup that is corrupted.
I think I have a solution that seems to work for me that didn't involve losing all of my other data/information.
health data is automatically backed up if you use icloud or encrypted itunes backup, but if you do an itunes unencrypted backup the health data and settings are ignored.
So here are the steps I followed:
- Complete an unencrypted itunes backup
- turn off find my iphone
- under backups select "restore backup" ... not the "restore iphone" setting
- restore from your latest unencrypted backup
- turn off and on the setting to use the iphone as a health info source
After this I was able to see my health data. unfortunately it looks like I lost all my old step info but at least it seems to be working now. Also as a side note I just setup my apple watch as a new device as a precaution.
