Q: blurry scans: canon mx870 with os x yosemite

when initially scanned it looks crisp, then when open in preview it is blurry, printing it is blurry also. Need help with fully installing the canon mx870 with all functions on new mac pro os x yosemite. also wireless printing.

Have you downloaded a Yosemite compatible driver from Canon's web site?

Network Printer Troubleshooting

Ping printer: If you have the printers IP address open Terminal (Applications/Utilities) and at the prompt type: ping {printerIP}. You will get a reply or failure.

Printer Troubleshooting - Yosemite

If you haven't done so already, try resetting the printing system.
