my macbook pro can't find any wifi

Hi All

While i was working on my macbook pro late 2010, all of sudden my mac restarted and when it turned on again I found my mac is completely unable to connect with wifi. first i couldn't turn on the wifi. later on when i shut down and turn it back on the system again it said the wifi is on but could not find any nearby wifi. Therefore i'm completely unable to connect with wifi . please help.

MacBook Pro, OS X Yosemite (10.10.3)

Unfortunately, many users face Wi-Fi issues on Yosemite.

These instructions work for OS X 10.10.3 as well.
