same issue here,

asked my credit card company to replace my card as the magnetic strip was worn out.

so I got the new plastic, everything is identical except for the expiration and CVV.

icloud attempted to charge the card yesterday (saturday) and I went in and updated the date and CVV today.

how do I gain access back to my 200gb plan? where is my data?

On 12/03/2016, we attempted to charge you for your 200 GB iCloud storage plan, but there is a problem with your payment information.
Your account will be downgraded to the free 5 GB storage plan if we cannot successfully renew your subscription.

On Friday 15/04, my credit card was stolen so I cancelled it. Apple tried to charge me for my iCloud account today 18/04 but because my credit card was cancelled, the payment did not go through. I am waiting for my new credit card to arrive so I an update my details. This should be done by 21/04 at the latest. However, I do not want my storage plan to be downgraded in the meantime. Does anyone know how long Apple will allow me to keep the current storage plan before updating my details? This is the message I received below:

On 18/04/2016, we attempted to charge you for your 50 GB iCloud storage plan, but there is a problem with your payment information.

Your account will be downgraded to the free 5 GB storage plan if we cannot successfully renew your subscription.
