Q: problems hearing caller

Since a week or two I cannot fully hear the caller.

The problem became worse gradually. Speaker is fine and the other

side hears me, but I cannot hear them...What could it be?

Can I fix this and if so, how?

iPhone 5, iOS 8.3

    Can we assume your question is about an iPhone? Which model? How old is it? Have you restarted the phone recently? Does this problem occur on every phone call? Which mobile network are you using?

    The problem is miraculously solved..no idea how.

     

    Still an answer to your questions since I am still curious on what the problem might have been...

     

    Yes the question is about an iphone 5, purchased about 2,5years ago.

    I did restart the phone several times over a couple of days, but that did not fix the problem.

    Yes, with every phone call the same thing occurred. I use Simyo (KPN network/Netherlands)
