Q: Out mail goes to OUTBOX. How to rectify?

My out mail goes to OUTBOX. How to rectify? Email v8.2 Mac OS X v10.10.2

Am new to this procedure.

Any help, guidance would be much appreciated

Outgoing mail is supposed to go to the outbox.

Thanks BUT on my Imac......Mail usually dispatches....when it goes to OUTBOX, it stays on my computer it stays on my computer.

Have had other help that sorted out correct setting (unknown how they had changed).
