Q: Using zune on Imac with Yosemite?

I installed the  Windows Phone app on my Imac and used this link  http://openterminal.andre-jagusch.de/wp7/

I did what it said and the Windows Phone app wont recognize my Zune it's a version 3.30.  I noticed this fix was for a phone, but Im not sure if it should work with my zune.  I found the above link in the following thread  how to sync windows phone with mac using yosemite
