Assign Pedal Problem

I am using a Korg Triton LE, midi uno interface and the patches from the musical Spamalot provided by Keyboard Patch Pro. I am trying to assign a Korg foot pedal to change the patches. I think I followed the assigning instructions but the pedal won't change the patches. If I click on the foot switch icon in the window the patches do change.
