Can't play many of the songs I purchased from I Tunes.

I am unable to play many of the songs I purchased from I Tunes. Error message says I need to authorize my computer with a password. I put it in (I Tunes password) and it says I am already authorized but does not let me play the song.

I have played these songs in the past, many are from purchases made years ago. Not a new computer. I did have a crash and reloaded everything.

I have an HP Touchsmart bought in 2010 and and OS 7

If it was a different email address, then that means that it was a different Apple ID. Go to: Apple - My Apple ID and see if you can answer your Security Questions. If you cannot remember them, then contact Apple Support to get a reset link sent to you: ACCOUNT SECURITY SUPPORT.


Once you get your password changed, you can then authorize the Apple ID to your iTunes account.
