What is the model number of your "old model" AirPort Extreme?

old model airport, connected with sitecom homeplug, ethernet entering at WAN port. Set to extend network

When using HomePlugs you are essentially creating an "Ethernet" network between the two AirPort base station. When using this type of connection, you do NOT want to configure the extending base station to "Extend a wireless network." Instead you want to configure it to "Create a wireless network." That is because you basically have the working for a roaming network.

Finally what are the model numbers for each of your AirPort Express base stations? How do you have them configured? That is, are they only being used for streaming or for extending the wireless network ... or both?
