May 14, 2015 1:18 PM in response to 46draawedby LarryHN,I do not see it on the list - OS X Yosemite: Supported digital camera RAW formats - Apple Support
Why do you ask?
And are you asking about the new Photos application in 10.10.3 or about iPhoto?

May 14, 2015 1:30 PM in response to LarryHNby 46draawed,I have IPhoto 9.6.1 (910.42). It worked for me one day and when I attempted importing photos the next day it doesn't work. I also tried using the new Photos application with no success. I get the photos from my camera but then when I click import photos I get a message that says these are unreadable files:32 the operation couldn't be completed.

May 14, 2015 1:38 PM in response to 46draawedby LarryHN,Will Image Capture (in your applications folder) import them or have you tried a card reader
Most likely solution is to get them off safely and then use the Camera's format command to erase and reformat the card

May 14, 2015 2:44 PM in response to 46draawedby Keith Barkley,Did you try another cable? Is your camera set to the correct mode? Older Canons could be set in either "PTP" or PC communication" mode. You want PTP.

May 14, 2015 3:16 PM in response to Keith Barkleyby 46draawed,I'm not too knowledge able in these things, but I would say no. So are you saying that it wouldn't affect it then or did I make a mistake in accepting that update?

May 14, 2015 3:33 PM in response to stedman1by 46draawed,No. Does that mean that no, my camera is no longer supported by Apple or does it mean it wasn't a mistake to allow the update?
-
May 14, 2015 3:36 PM in response to 46draawedby stedman1,No, as in your camera doesn't shoot in Raw Format, so a Raw update should not affect the ability to read standard JPG files.

May 14, 2015 3:45 PM in response to stedman1by 46draawed,I guess I still don't have an answer to my original question. Considering that I haven't changed my methods of importing why am I not able to import pictures? My conclusion is that my camera must not be supported by Apple any longer.
