Q: Cant add some iphone numbers to imessage keeps saying there not rigistared

HI..I keep trying to add new contact numbers on my ipad over wifi so I can use Imessage some I can use no bother others it wont add and I cant use Imessage

Any ideas please?

iPad, iOS 8.0.2

Try to set up iMessage from scratch. Use these instructions:
iOS and OS X: Link your phone number and Apple ID for use with FaceTime and iMessage - Apple Support
