MY iMac 27" pc has a dark, blank screen. Not working as of this morning. Keyboard & mouse lights go on but not display. What is going on & how can I fix this?

This has nothing to do with Classic.   Any Mac capable of running 10.6 or later can't run Classic.    There is a clock battery also known as a PRAM battery that can get old after 4 years.  Replacing it, by taking it in for service often can fix a display not showing.

The other thing that can do it, is removing all connections except USB keyboard and mouse and power and holding the power button down for 10 seconds, and then hitting it again.
