Do you know if a usb to usb will work for migration?
I tried via our server and computers talked for more than 48 hours and I still do not have even half my information on the new one.
Is my best bet USB - USB or download from a hard drive backup.

You can use a FireWire cable and boot the source (one you want data FROM) in Target Disk Mode

Or boot both normally and connect both via a network connection
