Q: I keep being asked to update safari to 8.0.6 which I've done and it shows as installed...

Installed Safari 8.0.6 as I usually do with other updates.

 

The update notification keep popping asking me to update to 8.0.6 where as right under it on the last 30 days installed updates it shows as installed...

I'm running MacAir with latest recent OS

 

Ideas anyone?

    Turn off automatic software update notification under Apple menu -> System Preferences -> App Store.

     

    You can go back there to check for updates using the Show Updates button if you think you need one, and are backed up.

     

    Note, this has nothing to do with Classic.
