2008 Mac Pro WiFi Problems

I just got a 2008 Mac Pro and the "Wi-Fi" option is greyed out in Network Diagnostics. Any idea how to diagnose the problem or do I need a new airport card?

Under System Report > Network > Wi-Fi, I get this:

CoreWLAN: 4.3.2 (432.47)

CoreWLANKit: 3.3.2 (332.36)

Menu Extra: 9.3.2 (932.35)

System Information: 9.0 (900.8)

IO80211 Family: 6.3 (630.35)

Diagnostics: 3.0 (300.40)

AirPort Utility 6.3.2 (632.3)

No Wifi icon at the top of the screen, no Wifi network options in System Preferences, even when I create a new user or a new network. Thoughts?

Thanks.

Mac Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9.2)

Sounds like it does not have a wifi card.

If you go to System Report >Network>Wifi is a wifi card listed?

Likely listed for en2:

The wifi card was optional. You can get one here:

It is not that hard to install. Yo hae to remove the processor tray.

The 2009 I purchased in Library did not come with wifi card.
