Help! Hardware Labels

This is kind of a two parter.

I have 8 faders set up, and I would like them to display the current instrument for each patch within a set, or maybe across each set. is this possible?

My other issue is when I click hardware label, the text gets really small and I cannot read it unless I make the fader/knob HUGE.
