Been having this problem . slow response and very annoying

    This has nothing to do with Classic.

     

    Mac Pros can't run Classic.

     

    The spinning color wheel is indicative of something that is slowing down a process.    See my FAQ*:

    Check to make sure your Flash and Java are up to date.     Check to make sure your browser cache is cleaned.  And make sure your hard disk is not over 85% full.  Do not attempt to clean system cache as that is used to optimize your system.   Do not use cleaners such as Mackeeper, or Anti-virus or firewall software.  The only maintenance Macs need is backing up.
