It sounds like you're receiving the error "Lion Recovery Update can't be installed on this disk..." when trying to install the Lion Recovery update.

My main problem is that I cloned my existing HDD onto an SSD and lost the recovery partition and now Find my mac won't work. I was hoping this would provide a way to fix that without having to reinstall Lion. I think the best course of action will be to reinstall Lion. Thanks again!
