Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
Using MacBookAir, for some reason safari will periodically open a blank page. I currently have 4 tabs open. While typing this message, a blank page opens up for no apparent reason. Is this a bug, virus, etc? Anyone know how I might stop this?
MacBook Air, OS X Mavericks (10.9.5)
From the Safari menu bar, select
Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Extensions
Turn all extensions OFF and test. If the problem is resolved, turn extensions back ON and then disable them one or a few at a time until you find the culprit.

I have replied to your suggestion because the issue stopped on its own. Today, it started again. I have all extensions off. They have been off for some time (maybe weeks) so, I imagine that is not what is causing my issues. Any other ideas?
