iTunes Continues to Request my Apple Password

OS X v. 10.9.5

iTunes v. 12.1.2.27


Everytime I open iTunes, I get a dialog box asking me for my password. I have to enter my password as least three (3) times before the dialog box disappears.

What's causing this?


Any assistance would be appreciated.

I had this problem, too. I found that if I went to Store > Sign Out and then signed in after that, it worked ok. No idea if the problem will pop back up, but I'm at least signed in for now.
